Wāhine or kōhine role model
Many - my mum, my aunts, my peers, and of course, wāhine from the sports community
They are my role models because they create a safe space for young wāhine like me to grow. They motivate me to be better. Most importantly, they do so much so that women like me have better opportunities for leadership and development in sports.
SUPER WOMAN power
Encouraging others to push themselves.
SUPER WOMAN nickname

Main motivations to be active
I love pushing myself to see how far I can go. I like to encourage others to engage too because I see that it gives them confidence in themselves. I also find that it’s a really good place to make friends.
Advice to inspire wāhine in Sport and Active Recreation
Believe in yourself. As cliché as that may sound, we are much stronger than we believe.
