I have called Wellington home since moving from the UK in 2001. I now run my own media and advertising agency, The Media Lab, after a successful career with Clemenger BBDO here in the capital, where I planned some of New Zealand's biggest advertising campaigns, including the Rugby and Cricket World Cups, NZTA Road Safety, The National Bank, and many more.

I am married and have two girls (three if you include my Hungarian Vizsla running partner, Gabby) and we love our Karori neighbourhood. I am a keen sportsman and especially enjoy coaching rugby, running, hiking, mountain biking, golf, skiing, sailing, and following horse racing and cricket.

I believe sport should be an important part of everyone’s life, whether that’s simply getting active with a daily walk or roll, or training and competing at more elite levels. Wellington offers so many opportunities to get out there and be active, and Nuku Ora is helping make it happen in many ways for so many people. I feel fortunate to be part of the board and hope to use my skills to help deliver even more opportunities for Wellingtonians of all ages and abilities to stay active.
